This week’s Tuesdays @ the Square, presented by Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District, will feature High Desert Rangers, 6-8 p.m. July 8 on the lawn in the Central Park Square next to Boese Bros. 

High Desert Rangers are New Mexico’s premier bluegrass band, made up of the top players in the state. They offer killer three-part harmonies, top-level musicianship, and a great catalog of songs. This is live music at its zenith.

There is a beer garden and opportunities for picnicking at this event.

Attending the opera for the first time last year was a remarkable experience. It became eminently clear why The Santa Fe Opera is called “The Best Opera Festival In The World” … and why I am now hooked.

A dear friend of mine has adored the opera for years. Her first experience dates back to the third grade when the Santa Fe Opera brought the opera to her class via their outreach program. SANTA FE — The Santa Fe Opera announces casting and creative updates and confirms all information for its 2025 Season running June 27 through August 23. Scheduled in the 68th Festival Season are 38 performances, including two special Sunday evening performances featuring the opera’s singing and technical apprentices. The company holds to its mission and time-tested programming model: a balanced and varied repertory of new, lesser-performed and standard works.
