The Los Alamos Community Winds will present a Memorial Day Concert at 2 p.m. Monday, May 25 on the lawn at Fuller Lodge.

Selections will feature a mix of Patriotic and Popular Music. With special guest soloist Louise Mendius.

The Los Alamos Arts Council continues its 2015 Brown Bag Performance Series featuring world famous harpsichordist Kathleen McIntosh at noon today in the Pajarito Room at Fuller Lodge.

McIntosh performs widely, in festivals in Havana, Lima, Deia (Mallorca) and Tsuyama and with the Santa Fe Chamber Festival since 1996. Coro de Camara’s upcoming concert program, “A Little Night Music,” offers beautiful music reflecting images of the night.

The first half includes readings of picturesque poetry with corresponding choral settings of “Music in the Night” by Harriett Prescott Spofford and David C. Dickau, “Sure on This Shining Night” by James Agee and Morten Lauridsen, and “In the Night We Shall Go In” by Pablo Neruda and Imant Raminsh.

The first concert of the summer series begins at 7 p.m. Friday, May 15 at Overlook Park in White Rock.
