Four LAHS Seniors Awarded 2026 LASO Scholarships

The Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra awarded four scholarships to Los Alamos High School Seniors in 2026. These scholarships recognize seniors who have demonstrated exceptional interest and accomplishments in music. The student must attend Los Alamos High School or live in Los Alamos County. The scholarships are intended to encourage the recipients to continue their musical activities, regardless of whether they pursue music as a career. Enjoy The Sounds Of Summertime Music With Hummingbird Camp Students At Jemez Historic Site

Jemez Historic Site and Hummingbird Music Camp offer summer youth concerts to everyone 6-7 p.m., Saturdays, June 6 to July 25.

Enjoy a free concert series performed by campers from Hummingbird Music Camp at Jemez Historic Site while strolling the site after hours.

This free event is open to the public. Hummingbird Music Camp is an eight-week-long summer sleep-away camp in Jemez Springs for children 8-14 years old. Campers receive daily private lessons on an instrument and participate in group rehearsals and concerts.

The community is invited to ride Atomic City Transit to the Los Alamos Summer Concerts at Ashley Pond all summer.

The 2026 summer concert bus schedule extends service on three fixed routes to allow concert goers to leave their car at home and avoid parking hassles or a long walk to Ashley Pond.
