The Emergency Response Group in the Hazmat Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory has its Boston Dynamics Spot robot boogie to the beat of live music performed Saturday during ChamberFest in downtown Los Alamos. Update: All Lanes Now Open On Truck Route.

LAPD News:

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) reports that all lanes are now open on the Truck Route following the shutdown that occurred this morning.

The cause of the shutdown was a dump truck that overturned at the bottom of the Truck Route (East Jemez) at mile marker # 9.

One person was transported for injuries.

There was also a diesel spill that LANL Hazmat had to clean up.

Scene of a vehicle crash this morning in which this dump truck overturned at the bottom of the Truck Route (East Jemez) at mile marker # 9. One person was transported for injuries. There is also a diesel spill. Los Alamos Police, Santa Fe Sherriff’s Office, Los Alamos Fire Department and LANL Hazmat are on the scene. The Truck Route is now closed in both directions … with the western roadblock on East Jemez just east of Elk Ridge Mobile Home Park to allow residents to access Elk Ridge.
