TAOS – The following information is for the distribution of a Brittany Alert from the Taos County Sheriff’s Office.

The Taos County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Marcos Duran, 25, who is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has hazel eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a white t shirt, and black shorts.

He was last seen at approximately 7 p.m. July 27, 2023, at his residence on Vista Del Valle Road in Talpa. His direction of travel is unknown.

Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, and Raul Bujanda, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Albuquerque Field Office, announced Monday that Lestat Cree Valdez made an initial appearance in Federal Court on a criminal complaint charging him with assault with a dangerous weapon.
