Adrian Maes of Española is missing

NMSP News:

 ESPAÑOLA – The New Mexico State Police (NMSP) is seeking assistance in locating Adrian Maes, a 32-year-old male who is 6’0”, 240 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen being dropped off at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6 at a Park and Ride bus stop in Española. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants, and grey shoes. He has a tattoo of the Grim Reaper on his back.

His current location and method of travel are not known.

FBI: Former Prisoner Transport Officer Gets 24 Months In Prison For Violating Civil Rights Of Detainees In His Custody

ALBUQUERQUE — Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, announced today that Anthony Buntyn was sentenced to 24 months in prison.

A federal jury convicted Buntyn, 55, a former prisoner transport officer, Sept. 28, 2022, of willfully violating the Due Process rights of the detainees in his custody.

ALBUQUERQUE — Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, has announced that George Martinez was sentenced to 94 months in prison.

Martinez, 46, of Albuquerque, pleaded guilty July 11, 2022, to 42 counts each of wire fraud and aggravated identity theft and six counts of money laundering. The Court ordered Martinez to pay $1,216,205 in restitution and issued a forfeiture money judgment in the amount of $689,797.

NMSP Announces Fatal Dog Attack In Tucumcari

NMSP News:

TUCUMCARI – On Wednesday, Feb. 1, the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) Investigations Bureau was requested by the Quay County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the death of Stanley Hartt, 64, of Tucumcari.

Agents learned that at about 8 p.m., Feb. 1, Hartt was attacked by a pack of five dogs, all mixed breeds, while he was walking on 11th Street near Gamble.

Emergency medical services were called; however, Hartt succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Office of Medical Investigator.

ALBUQUERQUE — It took an hour of waiting to get the first one.

The suspect exited out the side door of a Kohl’s store with a black duffel bag full of shoplifted clothing and shoes. But before he could make a getaway, he was apprehended by patient Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office deputies, who pounced and quickly placed him in handcuffs.
