David Byron Lawrence, 54, was charged with assault against a household member and criminal damage to property of a household member when he was arrested June 6.

Los Alamos Police Department Cpl. Robert Larsen was notified of a domestic dispute in progress and when he arrived at Lawrence’s residence, two women told him Lawrence was drunk and “got crazy”. ESPANOLA — At approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s Department dispatch received a 911 call regarding a shooting that occurred at SR 111 Private Drive 1695, House # 1 in La Madera, Rio Arriba County.

Based on statements and through investigation, it was learned that the suspect, Damian Herrera, had shot and killed his mother, stepfather and brother in what appears to be a domestic dispute.

UPDATE: Ramon Acosta was located by the Espanola Police Department last night and taken into custody.

LAPD News:

Los Alamos Police Officers are searching for a 36-year-old male named Ramon Manuel Acosta.

Acosta fled from a crash scene on foot into the canyon south of Camino Cereza at approximately 4:30 p.m. today. He has an active warrant for a probation violation stemming from a robbery charge.
