LAPD Seeks Information About Two Canines That Killed Small Dog On Acoma Lane

LAPD News:

The Los Alamos Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying and locating two dogs that recently attacked and killed a smaller dog at a residence on Acoma Lane.

A witness observed the two large dogs, one brown and the other black, enter the yard where a smaller dog was standing at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. The two large dogs killed the smaller dog and left the area. The witness didn’t know the breeds of the dogs in question. Los Alamos police and animal control officers searched the area to locate the dogs but were unsuccessful.

Matthew Hudgins was arraigned in Los Alamos Magistrate Court Thursday on a charge of aggravated battery against a household member, disfigurement or impairment. He was arrested March 29 after Los Alamos police officers responded to a possible dispute at his residence and allegedly found the victim with blood dripping from her mouth, holding her wrist, and crying hysterically.

Amanda Osborne of Los Alamos, one of seven people arrested March 20 during Operation Spring Cleaning, is back in jail for allegedly violating one of the conditions of her pre-trial release.
