Steve Porter Back Behind Bars For Violating Conditions of Release

Steven C. Porter of White Rock was arrested today and placed back in jail for violating the conditions of his release.

Los Alamos Police Commander Jason Wardlow Herrera confirmed today that Porter tampered with his court ordered electronic monitoring device meant to limit his movement to the radius of his property in Pajarito Acres.

UPDATE: Los Alamos Man Dies In Single Car Crash

UPDATE: Los Alamos National Bank President Steve Wells told the Los Alamos Daily Post moments ago that Trent Johnson had worked at LANB for 14 years.

“He was a wonderful person … liked by everyone … he was part of the fabric that makes LANB what it is – it’s the people like him – and he will be sorely missed,” Wells said. “Our sympathies go out to Trent’s wife and two sons.”

Wells said that the Trent Johnson Memorial Fund has been set up at LANB and community members may donate to that fund to help the family.
