TUCUMCARI – On Sept. 21, 2024, at around 12:20 p.m., the New Mexico State Police (NMSP)  Investigations Bureau was requested to investigate a shooting incident that occurred at 621 West High St. in Tucumcari.

State Police agents learned that Alex Gutierrez, 24, of Albuquerque, and another unidentified male went to 621 West High St. and knocked on the door. The occupants, a male and female, were acquainted with Gutierrez and eventually opened the door.

ALBUQUERQUE – A Dulce man was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for sexually assaulting an unconscious 16-year-old girl and photographing the abuse.

According to court documents, on May 26, 2022, Willard Dedios, 60, an enrolled member of the Jicarilla Apache Tribe, sexually assaulted the minor victim, who was intoxicated, at his home in Dulce, New Mexico. FBI: Standing Rock Man Pleads Guilty To Killing Woman

ALBUQUERQUE – A Standing Rock man charged by federal prosecutors for the fatal shooting of a woman during a confrontation at his home has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and assault with a dangerous weapon.

According to court documents, Dec. 30, 2023, Sonny Hannah, 75, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, was confronted by Jane Doe 1 outside Hannah’s residence on the Navajo Nation because her car had been broken into while it was parked behind his residence. ALBUQUERQUE – A Dulce man was sentenced to two years in prison and 15 years of supervised release for the sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl.

Early Morning Crash Results In Death Of Los Alamos Man

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) would like to inform the public of a fatal crash that occurred early this morning near the intersection of N.M. 502 and Camino Entranda.

This morning, Sept. 6, 2024, at about 5:16 a.m., LAPD responded to a 911 call reporting a two-vehicle accident on N.M. 502 near the intersection of Camino Entrada. Officers arrived on scene a few minutes after the call was received. NMSP: Officer Involved Shooting Involving Santa Fe Police

NMSP News:

SANTA FE — Sept. 4, 2024, the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) Investigations Bureau was requested by the Santa Fe Police Department (SFPD) to investigate an officer-involved shooting (OIS) at 3000 Cerrillos Road.

Agents learned that around 9:30 p.m., SFPD officers were dispatched to the area of Smith’s Grocery at 2308 Cerrillos Road, where Jesus Rafael Contreras, 41, of Santa Fe, was reported to be suicidal and armed with a firearm.

Officers arrived and were unable to locate Contreras. Dispatch told officers they had Contreras on the phone, and believed they heard a gunshot.
