Hilltoppers Varsity Volleyball Has Narrow Loss To Demons

SPORTS News:

The Los Alamos High School Varsity Hilltoppers hosted the Santa Fe Demons Saturday at Griffith Gymnasium.

The Toppers opened the match going up two sets. The third set was very close but the toppers eventually lost the next three sets.

The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Demons.

DURANGO, Colo. — Mountain Capital Partners (MCP) and Sandia Peak Ski Company have announced a joint venture agreement for the operation of Sandia Peak Ski Area near Albuquerque.

This is the company’s third New Mexico ski area, bringing the total portfolio to 14 ski, bike and golf resorts across the Southwest, Oregon and Chile.

Topper Football Has Big District Win Over Manzano

Melaki Gutierrez intercepted a Monarch pass in the end zone and ran it back 105 yards for a touchdown in a district game played Friday evening against the Manzano Monarchs on Sullivan Field. The Toppers dominated the Monarchs on both offense and defense and allowed only one touchdown in the closing minutes of the game and a field goal. The final score was 48-9. The Toppers next outing is Thursday against the Valley Vikings to be played at Milne Stadium in Albuquerque. The game will be broadcast on the Daily Post YouTube channel. Los Alamos Police Partner With Starbucks For Torch Run Icon Campaign To Benefit Special Olympics

Every year the Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) runs the torch to promote awareness and to raise money for Special Olympic Athletes in Los Alamos and around the State.
