The Los Alamos boys basketball team will host the first round contest of the 2022-2023 District 2-4A
tournament at 6 p.m. today in Griffith Gymnasium.

Los Alamos, along with Española Valley and Pojoaque Valley, finished tied for second place in the final 2-
4A standings, but after all tiebreakers shook out, Los Alamos finished behind both the Sundevils and
Elks. As a result, Los Alamos will have to go the long way to get to the district title game Friday night at

New Mexico Mustangs Girl Hockey and Santa Fe Hockey Association are hosting TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE for kids ages 4 to 9.

It will be held 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at Genoveva Chavez Community Center.

This Try Hockey for Free event is designed to provide kids ages 4 to 9 the opportunity to try hockey in a FUN, safe environment with trained coaching staff.

LAHS Hosting District Basketball Games This Week

LAHS SPORTS News:

Los Alamos High School (LAHS) will host district basketball games this week at Griffith Gymnasium.

The varsity boys will host Moriarty in the first round of the district tournament today, Feb. 20 (game starts at 6 p.m. and gates open at 5 p.m.).

On Saturday at 6 pm. the varsity girls will host the District Championship game.

For the district tournament, there will be no cash sales and all sales go through GoFan. Passes will not be accepted for either game.
