LAYSL Launches Important New Fundraising Campaign

From Los Alamos Youth Soccer League:

The Los Alamos Youth Soccer League is excited to announce a new fundraising campaign aimed at improving our soccer fields and supporting the hundreds of local kids who play each year.

Right now, our volunteer coaches spend hours every week painting field lines by hand so our athletes have a safe and enjoyable place to play. While we’re grateful for their dedication, we’d love to give them more time to focus on what matters most: coaching and developing our players.

The State Game and Fish Department stocked a total of 49,338 rainbow trout weighing 10,606 pounds (about 4810.8 kg). Most of the stocking will now be in Northern New Mexico.

Still Time To Register For Los Alamos Elks Lodge Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Los Alamos Elks Lodge News:

There’s still time to register for the annual Los Alamos Elks Lodge #2083 Charity Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held on Friday, June 12 at the Los Alamos Golf Course. Golf will start at 9 a.m., followed by a luncheon and other festivities at the Elks Lodge, 1601 Trinity Drive.

Player registration is $130/player or $520/team and includes entry into golf scramble, greens fees, golf cart and lunch.

Los Alamos County Golf Course hosted a two-day tournament over the long Memorial Day weekend featuring a two person best ball net format.

Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 began with a 9 a.m. shotgun start both days.
