Los Alamos, playing at Bomber Field for the first time in the 2025 season, pounded the Demons 12-1 in the first game, then put the cherry on the sweep, earning an 11-1 victory in game two.

The two wins Wednesday gave the Hilltoppers a 9-game home win streak dating back to last season.

Sunday March 23, the Los Alamos Atomic Tumblers from the Los Alamos School of Gymnastics (LASG) traveled to Albuquerque to compete in the 2025 New Mexico USAG Xcel Bronze and Silver State Championships.

The Topper softball team hosted the Santa Fe Demons in a double header Tuesday afternoon on Hope Field in White Rock. The first game was won by the Toppers 17-7 in 5 innings. Saturday March 22, USAG New Mexico held its 2025 upper level State Championship Meet, at Sandia Prep in Albuquerque.

Los Alamos School of Gymnastics was represented by three competitors in the Gold division. Eliana Rodriguez, Teagan Brown, and Caroline Eriksen. Brown and Rodriguez qualified to represent New Mexico in the Region 3 Championships on May 2-4 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

County Council Learns Details Of Successful Atomic City Winter Classic Adult Hockey Tournament

Los Alamos County Council learned during its regular meeting March 11 that the 8th Annual Atomic City Winter Classic Outdoor Hockey Tournament was a great success. Tournament Representative Oscar Solis, left, reported on the event and the economic benefits it provided to the community. The tournament was held in January.
