New Mexico State Office Of Superintendent Of Insurance Has Detected Cyber Incident On Its Network

OSI News:

SANTA FE — The Office of Superintendent of Insurance (OSI), which regulates the insurance industry in New Mexico, has detected a cyber incident on its network.

The agency has taken immediate action to address the incident, contacting law enforcement, the state Department of Information Technology (DoIT) and third-party forensic experts for analysis.

OSI is investigating the incident with the assistance of these experts to determine if any data has been extracted. OSI IT staff are working diligently with state DoIT officials and external IT security experts.

Did you know that you can lose access to your social media account just by accepting a follower/friend request? It’s a little more complicated than that, but it’s worth knowing how the scam works so you can avoid it.
