Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities water crews are responding to a water line break on Los Pueblos Street west of Bonita Place on Barranca Mesa.
Customers in the area are experiencing low to no water pressure.
Excavation is occurring on the north side of the street with some impacts to west bound traffic at the construction zone.
Crews estimate that water services will be restored by 6 p.m. today.

The Los Alamos Police Department has noticed an increase in speeding concerns from the Los Alamos public over the last month.
These concerns have come in a variety of forms to include; social media posts, emails, phone calls, and citizens utilizing the crime-tip submission tool on the LAPD website.

Traffic Alert Update:
Traffic is now moving smoothly in both directions between the Truck Route and White Rock on N.M. 4 following the mishap earlier this morning in which trailer flipped over and blocked the roadway.
However, the Los Alamos Police Department is utilizing the shoulder while awaiting the arrival of a wrecker to remove the flipped trailer.
There is construction debris near the scene of the accident and motorists should slow down and proceed through this area at mile marker 66 with caution.
Motorists also are advised that once the wrecker arrives, the roadway will close again to Read More
