ALBUQUERQUE – U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) joined Director Roderick Allison, of the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Office of Law Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service, a component of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, at the Albuquerque International Sunport Friday to highlight a legislative measure the senator led to enhance U.S. airport and mass transit security.

Modular Buildings Moving Off Hill July 19 To Aug. 3

Beginning Tuesday, Desert Wind Transport is moving seven modular buildings from Los Alamos Middle School to School of Dreams Academy in Los Lunas.

One building will be moved per day on July 19, July 21, July 24, July 26, July 28, Aug. 1 and Aug. 3.

The state requires these types of buildings be moved at night and traffic may be disrupted between about 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. as each building is 28-feet wide at the base and nearly 30-feet wide at the top.
