SANTA FE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is traveling to Mexico City, Mexico, to participate in a Clean Energy and Energy Security Collaboration Roundtable and a reception with U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar on Sept. 30.

Diamond Drive Crack Sealing Resumes Friday

COUNTY News: 

The Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets Division announced that contract crews will resume Diamond Drive crack sealing work Friday, Sept. 27 and continue throughout the weekend, weather permitting.

Work is scheduled 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and traffic delays are anticipated.

This crack sealing work will occur in a mobile work zone approximately 100 feet in length between Trinity Drive and the roundabout at North Mesa, alternating on both sides of the road. County Pavement Preservation Efforts To Begin On Central

COUNTY News:

In preparation for winter, Los Alamos County Traffic & Streets will be conducting asphalt patching on Central Avenue as part of ongoing County pavement preservation efforts.

This work is scheduled ahead of the colder months to prevent further deterioration of the roadway surface during winter. The timing was carefully chosen to follow the busy summer season and occur before the asphalt plants close for the winter. Last week County staff went door-to-door to speak directly with many affected businesses.
