LAPD: Crash On East N.M. 502 Near Twin Tanks Area … Traffic Down To One Lane

LAPD News:

Los Alamos Police have responded to a single vehicle crash on East N.M. 502 around mile marker 8 and the Twin Tanks area. The vehicle involved was a truck, and the driver was transported with unknown injuries. 

The Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office has taken over the scene. 

Traffic is down to one lane and moving slowly. Expect traffic delays. Read More

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) will conduct DWI Operations over the next several months.

Citizens can expect to see DWI roadblocks and saturation patrols to combat crimes related to driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, underage drinking, and open container violations.

Driver Ends Up In Ditch Off Edge Of NM 4

A driver alone in their vehicle somehow drove off the edge of N.M. 4 on Tuesday afternoon. The tip of the vehicle is visible here to the right of the tow truck, at the base of the tree. Los Alamos police said the driver sustained minor injuries and was transported (by Los Alamos Fire Department EMTs) to Los Alamos Medical Center. County Issues Traffic Advisory On Crane Transport Through Town To Los Alamos Golf Course Set For Monday

As part of the HVAC upgrade project at the Los Alamos Golf Course Clubhouse, a 50-ton crane will travel through town on Monday, Feb. 23.

The crane’s route will follow N.M. 502/East Road to Trinity Drive and Diamond Drive, arriving at 4244 Diamond Dr. Movement is scheduled between noon and 1 p.m. Monday.
