Aquatomics Place 11 in Long Course Championship

AQUATOMICS News:

The Four Corners Aquatic Team and New Mexico Swimming hosted the New Mexico Long Course State Championships Swim Meet July 19-22, at the Farmington Aquatic Center in Farmington.

A total of 446 swimmers from 22 teams attended.

The Los Alamos Aquatomics had 23 swimmers attend the championship meet; several of whom scored points for the team by finishing in the top eight in their events:

Sam Hagan Performs Wednesday at BESC

LARSO News:

The Los Alamos Retired & Seniors Organization (LARSO) is hosting a wonderful lunch concert for seniors at noon Wednesday, Aug. 15 at the Betty Ehart Senior Center.

Sam Hagan, vocalist from Atlanta will be accompanied by Juantia Madland. 

They performed together last year and were quite a hit.  Sam is in town to attend the opera and offered to do a concert at the senior center.

This summer 80 to 100 students age 4 through 6 grade filled the classrooms at Fuller Lodge Art Center on Central Avenue each week, while teens met for classes at Village Arts on DP Road.
