Last year, the film, “Jemez: A Murder Mystery” depicted a camping trip in the Jemez Mountains going horribly wrong when someone is murdered. The movie ended ambiguously and audience members were left to ponder who the killer was. Mesa Public Library Main Parking Reopens For Two Weeks

COUNTY News:

With the ongoing primary election and start of the summer concert series, the decision was made to postpone the construction of the new EV chargers at Mesa Public Library for two weeks.

Patrons of the library and anyone else visiting downtown can once again park in the main parking lot or drive up to the library and election ballot drop boxes. For those who don’t take advantage of the extended ACT bus service to attend tomorrow’s concert, this parking lot will be available.

The Los Alamos County Public Works Department, in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and under contract with San Bar Construction, announces installation of centerline rumble strips on NM-502 beginning Tuesday, May 26. Work will continue until the end of the week.

Longtime Los Alamos resident Philip Anthony Seeger, PhD., died peacefully in his home April 23, 2026, surrendering his life to Parkinson’s disease, but never his dignity, surrounded by family and listening to the music he loved. He was 89 years old.

SANTA FE — New Mexico Counties awarded $325,000 to nine grant recipients for community wildfire protection plan updates, fuel reduction treatments, and education efforts through the 2026-2027 Wildfire Risk Reduction Grant Program.
