COUNTY News:
Practice time for boaters using canoes, kayaks and rafts will take place 7:10-8:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at the Aquatic Center.
The cost is $5 per person.
The doors open half an hour earlier for boat cleaning before entry.
All watercraft must be rinsed off on the patio before pool entry. Boaters must provide their own boats.
All participants must have a wristband from the front desk before entering the pool. Life jackets are recommended for participants. Read More

The State Canvassing Board met June 25, 2024 and certified the results of the 2024 Primary Election. This is the final step in the multi-step post-election, canvassing and auditing process that ensures accuracy and election results.

Traffic Advisory: Asphalt Core Drilling On Central June 28

The Los Alamos County Public Works Department announces an asphalt core drilling operation scheduled on Central Avenue between 15th Street and Oppenheimer Drive. The drilling will take place 10 a.m. to noon Friday, June 28.

Atomic City Transit regular scheduled bus service will not operate on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of the holiday.
Atomic City Transit will provide free shuttle service for the Los Alamos Fourth of July event at Overlook Park in White Rock. Shuttle service will begin at 3 p.m. from Diamond and Canyon drives in Los Alamos and the White Rock Visitor Center and Piñon Elementary School parking lot in White Rock.
