Los Alamos JJAB & Teen Center To Partner On Movie Night

Los Alamos JJAB’s upcoming Teen Movie Night will offer a pre-party at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Los Alamos Teen Center.
Free food and games will be offered.
At 7:45 p.m., participants can walk from the Teen Center to SALA Los Alamos Event Center to watch MegaMind.

Dance enthusiasts and Kate Bush fans, this event is for you! The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 1 at Ashley Pond Park.

Community Invited To View New Lowrider Stamps Cruising Into Los Alamos Post Office & View 6 Cool Vehicles Saturday

U.S. Postal Service News:

The Los Alamos Post Office invites the community to celebrate its newly issued Lowrider stamps and view six cool lowrider vehicles and listen to music from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in front of the downtown Post Office.

The U.S. Postal Service held a first-day-of-issue ceremony for its new Lowriders stamps on March 13 in San Diego. With that issuance, USPS celebrated lowrider car culture, rooted in working-class Mexican American/Chicano communities throughout the American Southwest.

Los Alamos County announces the next Daddy/Daughter Dance is 6-8 p.m., Friday April 3, at Fuller Lodge.

Attendees will enjoy light refreshments, crafts, music, dancing, and digital photo keepsakes to remember the evening.

Schedule:

  • April 3 – Daddy/Daughter Dance;
  • April 8 – Daddy/Daughter Dance; and
  • April 10 – Family Dance & or (Mother/Son Dance).
