The Los Alamos County Council will meet jointly with the Los Alamos Public School Board at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at Chamisa Elementary School, 301 Meadow Lane in White Rock.

The SaxAtomix will present Winter Melodies at the White Rock Senior Center during noon lunch on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
Music will range from Mozart to Mancini. Also included are humorous takes on Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and the William Tell Overture. Rounding out the program are Spanish, Irish, and Jazz numbers.

This week the Los Alamos High School Hilltopper boys have a basketball game at home and the boys and girls Track and Field teams have away games in Roswell. The boys also have a baseball game in Albuquerque.
The Topper sports games are covered by the Los Alamos Daily Post sports team, which includes John McHale, Mike Cote and Nate Limback.
