Natural Gas Rate Change Addresses Operational Costs

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is proposing changes to its natural gas rate intended to close the gap between budgeted operational costs and the revenues that cover those costs.

An introduction of the proposed rate ordinance will be presented at the Los Alamos Board of Public Utilities (BPU) work session at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, in Council Chambers at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building as well as online via Zoom. Las Clinicas Del Norte Expands Service Hours

Las Clinicas del Norte, located at the Health Commons (1183 Diamond Drive, Suite D, Los Alamos) has expanded its operating hours. The clinic is now open from 7 a.m.–5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 7 a.m.–3 p.m., Wednesdays.

Las Clinicas Del Norte is a healthcare provider offering a range of services to support the health and well-being of the community in Los Alamos.

Horse Play Day Set For Wednesday April 1 At Brewer Field

Los Alamos County has announced Gymkhana (Horse Play Day), events that often emphasize children’s participation, and in most of the western United States, the phrase means “games on horseback”. The local Gymkhana is 5-9 p.m., Wednesday, April 1 at Brewer Field.

The event includes timed speed events such as barrel racing, keyhole race, flag race, pole bending, and on or off-horse roping.

Los Alamos Photographer’s Show In Step Up Gallery

STEP UP GALLERY News:

The Los Alamos Photo Club is celebrating its 30th annual show in Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library. Los Alamos Photo Club members exhibit their photographic work completed in the last year and invite regional photographers to show their photographs as well. The exhibit runs from April 3 to May 6.
