Mr. Jeremy brings up some valuable and useful insights in regard to the Fourth Amendment, and the expectation of personal privacy when an individual is in a public space (link). County: Keeping An Eye On The Weather? Use The Local Weather And Storm Alert System

COUNTY News:

When lightning is detected within 10 miles of a Weather Station during operation hours, audible and visible alerts will activate.

The alert remains active for 30 minutes from the most recent lightning strike, with a visible countdown timer showing when it is safe to resume outdoor activities.

Local Weather Stations are located at Ashley Pond Park, Los Alamos County Golf Course, North Mesa Sports Complex, Overlook Park and Piñon Splash Pad in White Rock.

Board Of Public Utilities To Meet In Regular Session June 17

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Board of Public Utilities (BPU) will hold a regular session at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, in Council Chambers at the Municipal Build at 1000 Central Ave.

Members of the public may view proceedings online or attend and provide public comment in person or via Zoom.

Mesa Library Parking Lot To Open For Tonight’s Concert

COUNTY News:

To provide additional parking for tonight’s Summer Concert Series, the main vehicle access route and parking lot will reopen at 4 p.m. today at Mesa Public Library.

The road and parking lot will close again on Monday morning, June 15, as construction activities resume.
