DA’s Office Dismisses Charges Against Mosley

First Judicial Deputy District Attorney Kent Wahlquist has dismissed charges of criminal sexual penetration of a child under 13, criminal sexual contact of a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor against Carl “Wayne” Mosley, 67, of Los Alamos.

Mosley was arrested Nov. 15 following an investigation conducted by Los Alamos Police Det. Matt Lyon, Child Youth and Families Department representatives and a forensic interviewer.

Wilhelm Granted Probation In Three Cases

Krista Wilhelm was sentenced Friday in Los Alamos Magistrate Court to 180 days of supervised probation on a charge of disorderly conduct and 12 months of supervised probation on a charge of attempt commit unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.

Judge Pat Casados ordered the two probation periods to be served consecutively and that Wilhelm participate in and successfully complete outpatient treatment during the entire duration of her probation.

Christine Trujillo Charged In Two Shoplifting Cases

Christine Trujillo, 51, of Espanola faces preliminary hearings Dec. 22 in Los Alamos Magistrate Court in connection with two November shoplifting incidents at Smith’s Marketplace.

Wilhelm Hearings Reset For Dec.15

Three preliminary hearings scheduled for Dec. 8 in Los Alamos Magistrate Court for Krista Wilhelm, 32, of Los Alamos have been reset for Dec. 15.

Wilhelm’s attorney Michael Jones told Los Alamos Magistrate Court Judge Pat Casados Friday that a plea agreement is being negotiated with the District Attorney’s Office.

Pandey Preliminary Hearing Continued

COURT News: 

 

A preliminary hearing in Los Alamos Magistrate Court for Sachin Pandey on charges of aggravated battery, false imprisonment and attempt to commit sexual assault has been continued to Jan. 5.

Assistant District Attorney said last Friday that he was not prepared and asked for a continuance. Pandey’s attorney Daniel Cron did not object to the continuance but advised the Court of the inconvenience to Pandey’s mother and sister who had traveled from Philadelphia and San Francisco respectively for the hearing.

Nicholas Conner, 35, of Los Alamos will serve four years in prison following sentencing handed down Tuesday by First Judicial District Judge T. Glenn Ellington. He is convicted of five counts of trafficking of methamphetamine.

Conner is one of seven people arrested and charged following Operation Spring Cleaning, a drug sting conducted last March by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Criminal Summons Filed For Karyne Archuleta In Los Alamos Embezzlement Case

A criminal summons has been filed in Los Alamos Magistrate Court for Karyne Archuleta of Espanola charging her with embezzlement of more than $17,500 from her former employer, Annette Weyrauch, owner of Physical Therapy Plus in Los Alamos.

Court documents indicate that Los Alamos Police Sgt. Tim Lonz met April 9 with Weyrauch who told him that Archuleta, then her office manager, had possibly embezzled the money from her over a two-year period.
