Los Alamos Public Schools On 2-Hour Delay Thursday

Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) will be on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, Dec. 4 due to winter weather conditions. We already have a lot of ice accumulating on walkways and in parking lots.

There is more moisture expected through the night and temperatures will remain below freezing. This delay will give our crews time to make sure parking lots and sidewalks are clear and safe for staff and students.

The Los Alamos Faith and Science Forum will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Los Alamos Unitarian Church.

A light meal will be served at 6 p.m., to be followed at 6:30 p.m. by a presentation and elections of board members.
