NMDWS To Host Rapid Hire Event June 17-18

ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) Labor Relations Division (LRD) will host a rapid hire event on Monday in Albuquerque to fill critical positions.

Staff will interview interested candidates on-site between 1 and 5 p.m., Monday, June 17, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 18, at the New Mexico Workforce Connection employment center located at 501 Mountain Rd NE in Albuquerque.

Col. Jason D. Allen To Take Command Of 58th Special Operations Wing At Kirtland Air Force Base June 21, 2024

KAFB — Col. Jason D. Allen will take command of the 58th Special Operations Wing in a ceremony at 9 a.m. June 21.

Allen will take the guidon from Col. Johnathan Graham, who has commanded the wing since his arrival in June of 2022.

Allen comes to Kirtland from his post at Keesler AFB, Miss., where he served as the deputy commander, 81st Training Wing. He was responsible for assisting and advising the commander responsible for training more than 27,000 military and civilians.

SANTA FE — New Mexico Economic Development Department (EDD) Acting Cabinet Secretary Mark Roper said that today’s announcement by the White House of another award to a New Mexico company under the CHIPS and Science Act solidifies New Mexico as a center for advanced manufacturing.
