Saturday, Oct. 26, between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities, the Los Alamos Public Library and Los Alamos Little Theatre will host a ghost hunt in the historic and spooky Performing Arts Center at 1670 Nectar St. This Halloween adventure returns once more after the successful adventures of last year’s ghost hunters.

The High Desert Winds Santa Fe (HDWSF) presents its first concert of the season, “Inspirations!” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3 at St. Francis Auditorium in the New Mexico Museum of Art, 107 Palace Ave. in Santa Fe.

Under the baton of HDWSF founder Kurt Carr, the performance will feature the music of contemporary wind ensemble composers from the mid 20th century to today.

The HDWSF will present the world premiere of “Weight of an Infinite Sky”, a 2023 composition by band member Andrew Zinkham.

Pajarito announces its second annual Oktoberfest scheduled for Oct. 19, 2024. This year’s festival will feature local breweries, including Bathtub Row Brewery, Boxing Bear Brewery and La Cumbre Brewery, offering a variety of craft beers that embody the essence of fall.
