DALA Announces Los Alamos Nutcracker Tea Party Nov. 18

DALA News:

Dance Arts Los Alamos (DALA) will host its second annual Nutcracker Tea Party 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Historic Fuller Lodge.

Enjoy sweet treats, meet and take pictures with the dancers from the upcoming production of “Nutcracker on the Hill”, and enjoy general music and merriment as we enter the holiday season. This is sure to be a fun filled afternoon for all ages. Tickets are available in advance for $25 per person and all proceeds benefit DALA, which is a 501(3)(c) dedicated to promoting dance in Los Alamos and Northern New Mexico.

Veterans Treated To Museums & Historic Sites All Weekend!

Any New Mexico resident providing satisfactory proof of current or past armed service will be admitted free to each of NMDCA’s 15 museums and historic sites on Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 10, 11 and 12. This program also covers the resident’s spouse and children.

Additionally, New Mexico Museum of Space History and New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum extend this program to cover all veterans, regardless of New Mexico residency. The New Mexico Museum of Space History also extends this program to National Guard personnel and first responders.
