ALAMOGORDO — The New Mexico Museum of Space History welcomes three new staff members: Olga Valanos, Brigette Smith, and Levi Heisinger. Valanos is the Public Relations and Marketing Director, Smith is the Front Desk Customer Service representative, and Heisinger joins as an Education Coordinator and Planetarium Projectionist.

New Mexico Dedicates Trinity Downwinders Sign On 80th Anniversary Of Trinity Test

SANTA FE — New Mexico marked the 80th anniversary of the Trinity Test with the dedication of a new roadside sign honoring the Trinity Downwinders affected by the blast. 

A public dedication ceremony was held Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 380 and N.M. 525 to unveil the sign and mark the 80th anniversary of the Trinity Test.
