Rocketeer Academy Summer Camp Blasts Off In July At Museum Of Space History

ALAMOGORDO — The International Space Hall of Fame Foundation and New Mexico Museum of Space History have announced that registration is now open at spacehalloffame.org for the Rocketeer Academy Summer Camp. The camp offers two one‑week sessions with two class levels: Explorers (grades 3–5) and Challengers (grades 6–8), each limited to 25 students.

I saw a rather disturbing post the other day. It was relaying a story of a man who married a single mother and was (by that mother’s own testimony) being an excellent father to her child. And yet some comments criticized the mother in “taking advantage of” her husband and that he was a “fool” for raising another man’s child. I could scarcely fathom the heartlessness of it. A long line of people showed up this morning for a piece of history. The Oppenheimer House on Bathtub Row is undergoing renovations, and the Los Alamos Historical Society gave away pieces of the original flooring to the public.
