FORT SUMNER, NM — The public is invited to commemorate the Treaty of 1868 between the US Government and the sovereign Navajo Nation from 1 – 4 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Bosque Redondo Memorial at Fort Sumner Historic Site.

The event includes cultural presentations by Shawn Price (Diné) and the Dineh Tah’ Dancers, who will perform traditional dances in recognition of the resilience of the Diné. Fort Union Nat’l. Monument Hosts Fort Union Days In June

WATROUS — Fort Union National Monument announces its annual Fort Union Days Event to be held on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday June 14, 2026. The event days are FREE to the public and run from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. The event will feature an 1800s military encampment, living historians portraying soldier and civilian life, and historic weapon and uniform presentations highlighting the period of the 1850s to 1890s.
