First of all, sincere condolences to all of the family and friends of Charlie McMillan. Such a tragedy to have perished in an automobile accident while still so relatively young. IHM’s parishioners in Los Alamos will remember fondly the times he and his wife Janet joined us for our Easter Mass with Charlie playing his recorder. May God grant him eternal rest, and bring comfort to his family.

The New Mexico State Fair is in full swing, and to ensure everyone has a smooth and enjoyable experience, several convenient transportation options are available to transport attendees to the fairgrounds easily and safely.

Early Morning Crash Results In Death Of Los Alamos Man

LAPD News:

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) would like to inform the public of a fatal crash that occurred early this morning near the intersection of N.M. 502 and Camino Entranda.

This morning, Sept. 6, 2024, at about 5:16 a.m., LAPD responded to a 911 call reporting a two-vehicle accident on N.M. 502 near the intersection of Camino Entrada. Officers arrived on scene a few minutes after the call was received. The Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) was also notified and on scene within minutes of notification and began treating three patients involved in the crash.

Traffic Alert: Main Hill Road Closed Due To Head On Crash

LAPD News:

The Main Hill Road (N.M. 502) is closed due to a vehicle accident near Camino Entrada. Police Officers are on scene.

The accident involves a head on collision. The Main Hill Road will be closed for an unknown length of time due to the accident.

All lanes are closed before East Park.

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) advises motorists to expect delays, avoid the area and use the Truck Route.
