State Police To Conduct Checkpoints And Saturation Patrols In Counties Across New Mexico In July 2024
STATEWIDE – New Mexico State Police (NMSP) will be conducting sobriety checkpoints, saturation patrols and registration, insurance and driver’s license checkpoints in all counties across the state during July 2024.
We are bringing awareness to these events to reduce impaired driving-related fatalities through continued media attention and intensive advertising.

Traffic Advisory: Asphalt Core Drilling On Central June 28

The Los Alamos County Public Works Department announces an asphalt core drilling operation scheduled on Central Avenue between 15th Street and Oppenheimer Drive. The drilling will take place 10 a.m. to noon Friday, June 28.

Atomic City Transit regular scheduled bus service will not operate on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of the holiday.
Atomic City Transit will provide free shuttle service for the Los Alamos Fourth of July event at Overlook Park in White Rock. Shuttle service will begin at 3 p.m. from Diamond and Canyon drives in Los Alamos and the White Rock Visitor Center and Piñon Elementary School parking lot in White Rock.
