New Mexico State Police Checkpoints And Saturation Patrols In Counties Across State In January 2022

NMSP News:

New Mexico State Police (NMSP) will be conducting sobriety checkpoints, saturation patrols and registration, insurance, and driver’s license checkpoints in all New Mexico counties during January 2022.

NMSP is bringing awareness to these events to reduce alcohol-related fatalities.

These checkpoints are helping to change society’s attitude about drinking and driving.

NMDOT: Get Home Safely During New Year’s Eve Holiday

NMDOT News:

SANTA FE — As New Mexicans celebrate New Year’s Eve events involving alcohol, the New Mexico Department of Transportation and its partners are promoting a program to get people living in the Bernalillo County metro area home safely.

NMDOT is partnering with Bernalillo County, the city of Albuquerque, Cumulus radio stations and Uber to support the “Take a Ride on Us” program designed to combat drunk driving. 

The program offers 2,000 participants an Uber credit of up to $15, two rides per person beginning noon Wednesday, Dec. 29 through midnight Tuesday, Jan. 2.

LRG Hosts First Tuesday Breakfast At Morning Glory Jan. 4

The Laboratory Retiree Group (LRG) will host its First Tuesday Breakfast in January.

Fully vaccinated Lab retirees (and potential retirees) are invited to drop in at the LRG monthly breakfast, 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 4, at the Morning Glory Restaurant, 1377 Diamond Dr., across from Los Alamos High School.
