SANTA FE — The up-and-coming, award-winning Balourdet String Quartet will be replacing Cuarteto Casals—who had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances—for Santa Fe Pro Musica’s next String Works Series concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 at St. Francis Auditorium in the New Mexico Museum of Art, 107 W Palace Ave, Santa Fe, 87501.

The ensemble will perform  familiar favorites of the string quartet repertoire by Mozart, Stravinsky, and Brahms, as well as Memento Mori – Phase 1 (2013) by composer and sonic artist Nina C. Young.   Read More

County To Distribute Free At-Home Rapid Tests To Residents

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Emergency Management staff will distribute free at-home rapid antigen tests to Los Alamos and White Rock residents Tuesday in White Rock and Wednesday in Los Alamos.

Drive-through stations will be set up 1-3 p.m. as follows:

Individuals can receive up to four tests (two boxes that contain two tests each) while supplies last.
