ULLER Fest Is Back At Pajarito Mountain Saturday Oct. 2

Pajarito Mountain News:

The community is invited to ULLER Fest, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at Pajarito Mountain.

Enjoy lift served biking and hiking, lunch at the Cafe and beginning at noon, a New Mexico Craft Beer line-up. Also, local favorite DK and the Affordables will be playing at the event.

Beer Garden Requirements:

Proof of full COVID vaccinations and an ID (these will be checked upon purchase) plus $20 entry fee. This gives attendees an ULLR mug, one free beer and access to tastings from nine local breweries. It also keeps vendors and patrons safe.

NMDOT Sponsors Car Seat Inspection Clinics Saturday Sept. 25 For National Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week

SANTA FE — Sept. 19-25 is National Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week. The campaign focuses on the importance of properly securing children in an appropriate car or booster seat.

To support the event, the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will sponsor Car Seat Inspection Clinics, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 25 as part of National Seat Check Saturday.

Hill Stompers Pub Crawl And 21st Birthday Party Saturday

The Hill Stompers, Los Alamos’s unique, wacky, festive, quirky adult marching band, turns 21 years old this fall.

To celebrate, they are doing a pub crawl through downtown Los Alamos Saturday, Sept. 18. The fun begins at 4 p.m. at Pajarito Brewpub and Grill. The band then travels to Smith’s at 5 p.m., Boese Bros. Brewpub at 6 p.m., capping off the crawl at 7 p.m. at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op in Central Park Square.
