Katy P & The Business performs Friday the 13th in the first ever costume extravaganza produced by the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series presented by Toyota of Santa Fe.

The concert is sponsored by the Los Alamos Federation of School Employees and celebrates educators.

Music From Angel Fire Concerts Run Aug. 20 – Sept. 4

MUSIC News:

Box office sales for “Music from Angel Fire” has opened to purchase tickets to 10 concerts between Aug. 20 and Sept. 4.

Online sales may be completed at www.musicfromangelfire.org/sales or by telephone 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 575.377.3233.

“Tickets for individual concerts or the season are now available,” said President Jim Brown of the Music from Angel Fire board of directors.

During this 37th season for the summer chamber music festival, concerts will be presented in Angel Fire, Taos, Las Vegas and Raton.

Rotarian Jim O’Donnell Surprises Speaker Ann McLaughlin

At a recent Rotary Club of Los Alamos meeting, Rotarian Jim O’Donnell surprises guest speaker Ann McLaughlin, artistic director of the Los Alamos Concert Association, with a document he discovered while cleaning out the attic of an old building in downtown Los Alamos. The document is a receipt from a local printing business for an order placed in 1956 by the concert association. The Los Alamos Ski Club is hosting Beer & Bands, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday Aug. 7, on Pajarito Mountain.
