LACF Announces ‘Community Endowment For Music Organizations’ Honoring Lifetime Passion Of Judy Dudziak!

LACF News:

Judy Dudziak of Los Alamos had a strong passion for music, which she pursued from childhood throughout the rest of her life. She played piano and violin in her youth. Then later, the recorder and French horn, the latter in the Los Alamos Symphony, the Municipal Band, and as a member of the orchestra for many theatrical plays. 

Dudziak also encouraged all her children to play instruments and often supported the Los Alamos High School Band and Orchestra.

Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) presents Juanita Madland performing, via a musical recording, pieces from Bach, Mozart, Chopin and others noon Wednesday for the Brown Bag Performance Series.

Tub Partners With The Curse On Donation Drive March 27

Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op (Tub) has partnered with The Curse NM, the NM United soccer team’s official fan club. Curse members will get discounts throughout the season and during games.

To kick off the Tub’s partnership, they are hosting a donation drive noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 27 for the Child Abuse Response Team and Para Los Ninos, programs at UNM Children’s Hospital specializing in care for children and adolescents physically and/or sexually abused.

Items sought include child and adolescent clothing, comfort/hobby items, and hygiene products*.

Hannemann Music is still open and operating – providing instrument supplies, general instrument repair, and complete piano services – tuning, regulation, and repair.

Yes, I slowed operations for a while last year, but began to increase activity mid-August and I am currently running a full schedule.
