Friends and Supporters, Serenata of Santa Fe has been impacted greatly by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We recognize the need for a sense of place and community more than ever and know that our musicians and audience crave connection, beauty, healing and hope.

Serenata’s Musical Postcard Project was conceived for this purpose, and it is our mission to keep chamber music alive, whether it’s a live-streamed solo performance from one of our living rooms or recorded concerts from last season.

Los Alamos Favorite Max Gomez Performs Holiday Concert Virtually With Friends From Los Angeles Saturday Night

Los Alamos favorite Max Gomez will be doing his holiday concert virtually this year and invites his friends in Los Alamos to join him. Gomez, who has played a holiday show in Fuller Lodge each of the past three years, will be performing from Los Angeles and will be joined by a number of accomplished singer/songwriters, including Leslie Stevens who won many fans here when she played last year. Los Alamos Pianist John Kang Is New Mexico’s Division Finalist In MTNA Junior Artist Competition

John Kang, of Los Alamos, has been selected to compete as a Division Finalist in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Junior Artist Piano Competition.

He earned this opportunity by first winning the Junior Artist Division of the MTNA Statewide competition and will now advance to compete among five other winners from their respective states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.

2020 Holiday Prism Concert On YouTube 2 P.M. Saturday

Los Alamos Community Winds (LACW) presents its annual Holiday Prism Concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concert will be performed on YouTube.

The concert includes a series of performances by members from the community:

  • The Los Alamos Flute Choir;
  • The Covid Clarinets;
  • The SaxAtomix; and
  • The LACW Brass.

The concert also includes individual solo performances:

  • Flautists Heidi Morning and Tracey Speyrer; and
