Jazz returns to the Blue Window Bistro at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 19 when Los Alamos’ Craig Martin Experience (CME) starts the place jumping.

After a couple laid-back shows in March, the band is preparing a set of hard bop and fusion tunes from jazz’s most popular years in the 1960s.

Five classes of first and second grade students put on Disney’s musical ‘Cinderella Kids’ April 3 in the Mountain Elementary School gymnasium.

Each student had a special role – whether Cinderella, narrator, solo singer, a wheel of the carriage, or something else. Six students performed as Cinderella. Families and teachers all worked together to help the students perform this “happily-ever-after” tale.

The Los Alamos Big Band, a 16-instrument 1940s Glenn Miller-style swing band, celebrates its 30th birthday this year! As a way to thank the community for its steadfast support, director Jan McDonald invites the community to a free concert and dance at 7 p.m. Friday, March 28 at Fuller Lodge.
