Tyrell Abney of Los Alamos Sentenced in Abuse of Infant Son Case

District Court Judge Sheri A. Raphaelson sentenced Tyrell Abney of Los Alamos to a three year sentence with three years suspended and three years supervised probation Wednesday during a plea hearing at the Justice Center in Los Alamos.

Los Alamos police detectives charged then 18-year-old Abney in May 2012 with child abuse in the first degree against his infant son.

Santa Fe Woman Cited In Totavi Rollover

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office told the Los Alamos Daily Post this morning that Theresa Ferraro, 54, of Santa Fe was charged with careless driving in Sunday’s single car rollover at Totavi.
