FBI: Man Charged With Federal Drug Offense In Santa Fe

ALBUQUERQUE — Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, and Raul Bujanda, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Albuquerque Field Office, announced that Jeremy Isaac Lopez appeared in federal court on a criminal complaint charging him with possession with intent to distribute a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine.

Lopez, 28, will remain in temporary custody pending a detention hearing.

Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, and Raul Bujanda, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Albuquerque Field Office, announced that Dustin Roy Rockmen and Kenzie Roy Rockmen appeared in federal court on an indictment charging them with coercion and enticement of a minor, transfer of obscene material to a minor, sexual abuse of a minor, and sexual abuse.

Driver Arrested After Refusing To Stop At DWI Checkpoint

NMSP News: 

HOBBS – On Dec. 28, 2023, the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) was conducting a DWI checkpoint on US 62/180 outside of Hobbs.

During the checkpoint, a Nissan pickup truck approached the checkpoint at a high rate of speed. NMSP officers attempted to get the driver’s attention and have them slow down, but the driver refused and accelerated through the checkpoint, initiating a pursuit.

Tire deflation devices (stop sticks) were successfully deployed but the driver still refused to stop. A pursuit intervention technique was utilized and brought the truck to a stop.

Frank, of Shiprock, an enrolled member of Navajo Nation, pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter Sept. 14, 2023.
