Another good bye. I first became aware of Triatomics, the Los Alamos Multi-sport club, twenty years or so ago when we would be driving home sleepy from floaty night at East Park Pool and they would be running down Canyon Road in the gloaming in their bathing suits. Seemed a little weird but a few years later all the kids would be running alongside them.

Los Alamos Golf Course Ready For Cross-Country Skiing

COUNTY News:

During the last week, Los Alamos Golf Course personnel have  been grooming and preparing the golf course for cross-country skiing.

Skiers have been utilizing the course all week and will be able to continue to do so throughout the upcoming weekend.

Registration Is Now Open For Forest Explorers!

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) has announced that its beloved after-school kids’ club, Forest Explorers, is now open for registration for winter/spring 2024.

This is a self-directed opportunity where Forest Explorers are encouraged to build forts, get up close to the natural world, and build their awareness of the different plants and animals around them.

Each week PEEC helps to nurture camper’s cooperative play, work on building gross motor skills and focus on place-based learning. Read More
