Santa Fe National Forest Prescribed Fires: Pile Burns Tentatively Planned In Jemez And Española Ranger Districts

SANTA FE — Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) fire managers have scheduled potential prescribed pile burns in both the Jemez and Española ranger districts as early as this week.

Operations will involve pile burn projects intended to reduce hazardous fuels, enhance wildlife habitat, and improve forest health.

Pajarito: Townsight+100% Terrain+Powder=Get Here Now!

Pajarito Mountain has announced the Townsight lift will open this Saturday, Jan. 6. With more than a foot of snow projected in the next 10 days, Pajarito expects to open 100% of its terrain. Check the trail report for all the details.

Pajarito Mountain To Open Townsight Lift On Saturday

Pajarito Mountain announced today that it is opening up the Townsight lift on Saturday, and with today’s storm, expects to open 100% of its terrain.

The Townsight lift has not run in many years. The lift accesses blue and green trails, and can be reached via the Aspen lift on East Road.
