Bandelier National Monument is welcoming their next artists in residence, husband and wife fine art photographers Philip Metcalf and Patricia Galagan. They will be in the park through Nov. 7.
 
Metcalf and Galagan are based in New Mexico. Their landscape photography has increasingly been influenced by environmental concerns in the American Southwest, especially the effects of fire, floods, drought, and rising temperatures.

SANTA FE  The Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) urges hunters to set safety as their top priority and remain aware of their surroundings when hunting on National Forest System (NFS) lands. 
 
A good rule of thumb is look up, look down, look all around.

This Saturday, all heroes are invited to the Superhero Pumpkin Splash at the Aquatic Center. Local heroes, such as the Los Alamos Fire Department, Los Alamos Police Department and Los Alamos Veterans will be here to celebrate with popular superheroes.

SANTA FE—It’s time to gear up for another season on the slopes! The Santa Fe Ski Team is hosting its annual Ski Swap Oct. 30-31 at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) in Santa Fe.

The Santa Fe Ski team invites the public to participate in the event – drop off ski-related items noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.

High Flyers Gymnastics Seeks Help For Equipment

High Flyers Gymnastics is raising money to buy mats that will keep their young athletes safe while they work on more advanced skills.

 

The not-for-profit organization currently has 200 gymnasts. To meet the needs of those students, they are moving into a new (and secret) location, and updating their equipment.
