The Shuree Ponds on the Valle Vidal are now open for fishing. The Valle Vidal is north and east of Questa by N.M. 522, which can be reached through the town of Costilla. This road enters the west boundary of the Vidal. To reach the east side of the Valle Vidal, take U.S. 64 from Cimarron to Forest Service Road 1950.
