The Kickoff Session of the Los Alamos Roller Hockey Season was Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the County Ice Rink, in collaboration with Los Alamos County Parks and Recreation and the Los Alamos Hockey Association (LAHA). The County is hosting the weekly event and LAHA is executing the on-rink activities.

County Scam Alert: Fake Charity Golf Tournament Solicitations Targeting Local Area Businesses

Local golf professionals are warning businesses to be cautious of a scam involving fake charity golf tournaments.

A woman identifying herself as “Nayda” with Digital Fairways App has been contacting businesses, claiming to be organizing tournaments at courses such as Los Alamos Golf Course, Towa, Black Mesa, Santa Fe Country Club, and others, and seeking donations.
